Fiat made an impressive comeback( with GM money by the way) but Chrysler it&#039;s on the drain;
Opel it&#039;s a more logical step for Fiat, it will be a shame for Opel to dissapear;
Also Volvo will need some rescue love for it self;

		<description>Good piece, Josh. Sounds like Wagoner has more support from Alfred Sloan than Chris Dodd, which is unfortunate. You&#039;re right about the concept of the industry. If I were Obama, I would take a page out of JFK&#039;s playbook. Rather than putting a man on the moon by decade&#039;s end, I&#039;d try to get the whole country pulling together to get an American-built electric vehicle with American-built batteries in every garage in the country within 10 years -- and to be so competitive in doing so that EVs become our leading export.  I think the country could get behind that. We sure could use a positive, focused mission right now.
